I'd like to read The Sandcastle Girls, but I am on the waiting list at the library... so lets go with Left Neglected by Lisa Genova for September - it came out in 2011 so everyone should be able to get it from the library if needed.

Enjoy!

P.S. New to the group - is there a place I can see the books you have read in the past? Thanks

On of my favorites and has been out for a while (available in paperback, library wait should be over and audio) is Still Alice or Left Neglect by Lisa Genova.

Oh That looks really good! My only concern is that is was just published last month (July 2012)

I would suggest "The Sandcastle Girls" by Chris Bohjalian. It's described as a "sweeping historical love story." I just started reading it, and it is every bit as good as "Midwives" also written by Bohjalian.
