In a new option for the book club, we'll post on Mondays what we're reading. Feel free to list what you read over the weekend, just picked up on Monday, or have in your "hope to get to it this week" pile. On Twitter? Use #momsread over there and moms can check the list there, too.

So... what are you reading?

LIfe of PI - soooo good. I couldn't make myself see the movie, I loved the book. Maybe after I've forgotten the book I'll see the move :)

I am finally getting to Lark and Termite. I just finished Geek Love - which was interesting. It was a bit over-the-top for me. I have Life of Pi cued up next as well as my current Karen Kingbury fix and Water for Elephants. :)

I just finished an American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld
http://www.curtissittenfeld.com/books/am...

I read it for a book club and didn't get to make the meeting, so I am left wanting for a discussion on it. :)

My advice to anyone interested - don't read other people's reviews or comments before you read the book - it taints the experience.

If you have read the book - what did you think?

I'm reading - "A Thousand Pardons" by Jonathan Dee.

From the synopsis and first few chapters - its in the line of that familiar sight we see on the news: husband disgraces the family with drunkenness, lewdness, etc. and wife has to somehow save face. I got it as a preview from Random House; the book came out last week.
