Have you still been feeling dizzy or has it improved? Are you still on your prenatal? I've been a vegan 10 years and a vegetarian for 20. I nurse both my twin boys. I do drink a lot of water and eat often and with nutrient dense foods, but I still take my prenatal. Iron deficiency can cause you to feel light-headed and dizzy. I would say that if you continue to feel this way you should have your levels checked. Also, do you take a B-12 supplement?

im glad :o) Good luck! Totally not trying to sell to you at all but i also found juice plus to be very helpful for me. Altho i eat tons of fruits and veggies all the time i know i do not get everything in everyday mostly becasue of price. I saw so much benifet in it that i became a distributer but all it is is fruits and veggies concentrated into a cap or gummie (the caps are not vegan but you can empty them into food depending on how strict you are or have the soft chews which are super yummy. If you want to check it out my website is www.hhopkinsjuiceplus.com so if you know someone who is a distributer go to them adn check it out. It gave me a boost and no one in my house has had to have a perscription or OTC med since october when we started and no one has gotten so much as a sniffle. i thnk sometimes when we have some sort of limit to our diet be that vegitarian or food allergies or whatever it is good to get a little extra boost to keep our bodys healthy and happy and working the way they should. if it is something you are interested in your welcome to email me hchopkins@gmail.com and ask questiosn...totally no pressure and i really am not trying to sell just felt it may be helpful to you....after all as far as i am concerned better nutrition is helpful to everyone :o) Good luck with everything and congrats on your babe :o)

i am also vegatarian and have been for almost 20 yrs (altho i am ovo lacto not vegan). I nursed my 1st babe for 31 mo and my 2nd babe for 48 mos (just weans #2 last month...or rather he weaned himself last mo). I found that i would sometimes get a little dizzy if i had dunk too much water (i know that sounds silly). I am a heavy water drinker anyway but when i was nursing i was actually thirsty (usually i drink so much so often that i never got thirsty) and i would drink alot of water and i think my electrolites were off. So try adding a little sodium to your diet? keep yourself hydrated but not over hydrated. Keep your fresh raw fruit and veggie intake as high as you can and keep everything as natural as possible. I bet you will be feeling better in no time. Also remember sometimes when we are stressed or exausted we do not breath deeply enough and we need those great big deep breaths to keep our brains oxyenated so that may also be helpful :o) Good luck!

Maybe try some high protein foods. I eat almonds throughout the day because I had similar reactions a couple months back. Almonds (and additional frequent snacking) have helped me. Good luck!
