hi ther. i have just joined this group. my daughter has all the symptoms listed for retts syndrome i dont know if she actually has it. she had her first seizure at the age of 6 months and it was terrifying as you all know. she is unable to walk , talk, feed her self , bath etc. she is like a 9 month old child. she has been tested for numorous conditions although the closest the doctors have come up with is a condition called west syndrome. a few months ago my husband came across the condition rett syndrome while doing some research. i just wanted to know if any one elses child has been diagnosed with retts and what the doctors have said about it. i am scared to mention the possabilaty of retts to my doctor as when i have made suggestions before he has made me feel stupid. thanks jeanette
