My daughter has been involved with the Sarasota Waldorf School for just about 3 years now and our family has been transformed. We strive every day to adopt the Waldorfian way of life because at it's core, it's about simplicity, natural rhythms and love. What more could you ask for?!

Hi, I'm Sara and I'm just learning about Waldorf. Reading Rahima Baldwin Dancy's book and a lotof blogs. My child is almost seventeen months old and I am really excited to do and implement what I;m learning

I am really enjoying my summer with my two young daughters. Today we hung out in nature with some friends and the kids had a great time dropping leaves and other floating bits off of one side of a small foot bridge and watching them float through to the other side. The kids even started "fishing" the leaves/flowers/etc out of the water with sticks! I was amazed at how well they could "catch" their "fish"! Anyway, these simple moments are like magic. When I start spinning my wheels and think about rushing around with the busy tasks of life it is easy to forget about the joy of simplicity and just being in the moment, and how important it is to make room for these calm and peaceful moments in our lives.
