I am looking for someone who has A LOT of weight to loose (not just "the last" 20-30 lbs) and would like to have someone to go through it with. My goal is a 100-110 weight loss am just beginning and would love to have someone in the same boat to talk to and be that "buddy" with.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

Hey Ladies!

Are you looking to get healthy, lose weight, improve your energy? Sounds great, right?

Let me tell you a little background on how I got here. My husband and I started the program in May of 2013. We were truly shocked at how easy this was and amazed by our results! I lost 20lbs in two months, and he lost 40lbs in 3.5 months.

If the pounds weren't enough to make me thrilled, loosing 4 inches in my butt and hips had me ecstatic! haha. The best part is we haven't gained it back. Our view on food is different and we are more active.

It was so incredibly easy to keep on board with the program. There is less than 5 min. prep time for the food, some are just open and go! I loved that I could toss a snack in my purse and not rely on finding a "healthy choice" on the go. Not to mention, cooking once a day was a nice break.

Well, one thing leads to another and I decided to be a health coach through Take Shape For Life after I did the program. I want to help others create a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable. I've included my website in case you want to reference it at a later time.

You can see all of the meal options, read more about what this program is and what it entails at the website below. Stop by my facebook page and feel free to email me any questions. I am completely honest and open and want to help you reach your goals.

Thanks, Kristin

I have a lot to go. at 34 weeks I'm about 90-100lbs away from my goal weight. I know I'll lose about 30 after having the baby (I did with my past pregnancies, anyway) - but after that it's going to take a lot of work. I'm trying to acquire a Y membership and I"m going to try to get in there. They have child care, though I'm not totally comfortable with leaving a baby there. Hopefully I can get some help with my kids so I can make time to get healthy and to a weight that doesn't make me gag when I see myself in the mirror. Good luck!

My husband was using an online tool - I think it's "myfitnesspal" and he has been losing weight just counting calories... I don't know if it'll be effective with me, though - I get sneaky with food (I probably need a shrink, because I'm only cheating myself but I can't stop!)

Jessica...I do watch the Biggest Loser but did not invest in the book. Last year, when I was doing well I followed some of the things I learned from watching the show. Counting calories one of the things I did. I would have to do a lot of preplanning so that I did not feel run down during the day. I have started that as well so I won't find myself binging just to get energy to keep moving or even stay awake (something I learned about myself with a food journal last year).

Hello All. I am just reading your posts and can definitely relate. My daughter is seven so can no longer cling to the baby weight explanation. I think I was actually smaller after I had her. Unfortunately she came along with a newly acquired sweet tooth that is finally starting to disappear. Based on BMI standards I need to lose 75lbs which would mean I'd weigh less than when I was in high school (maybe even less than when I was in 8th grade). I would truly be ecstatic with 50lbs. Last year I was doing quite well, but stress, a tendon injury and a change in medication which sent my hormones out of whack escalated my sweet tooth. I gained more than half the weight I lost back. I might have gained it all back except for the fact that I take a dance class once a week. Exercise has been the only way I have ever been able to lose weight, so yesterday I started by just walking. At night I had to use a heating pad on my old injury but I woke up feeling fine. Once I complete this response, my daughter and I will go for a walk today. I’d like to be a part of your group but my posts will often be much shorter (that may be a good thing) and I may not fit your parameters. Either way I am inspired by you all.

I feel you, Dayna, about the soda. I've never been much of a water drinker and the fact that I need to drink more just makes me quiver!! What I started to do is carry the Crystal Light To Go packets to put in my water. When I'm halfway done my bottle, I fill it up with water again but don't put another packet in there. By the time it's completely water in the bottle, my sweet tooth has been satisfied! To keep my wallet a little fuller, I put half a lemon or some cherries with Splenda....REALLY GOOD!!!

My confession is that I have a huge sweet tooth!! If there is ANY sweets in the house....cake, candy, ice cream, you name it...I WILL EAT IT!! I need some suggestions on good sweet stuff for the kids to eat besides fruit (they love fruit, but I can't ever keep enough in the house!) Also, does anyone follow the Biggest Loser diet? I was going to get the calorie counter book, but I also need some recipes to start with...

I know exactly what you mean, Jessica! My toddlers are constantly climbing on the balance board with me when I'm trying to do the workouts, I guess they are as fascinated with the Wii as I am, lol!

I've been in the middle of Spring Cleaning for the past few days, but when I get my house back in order then I'm going to try a couple of ideas I had about keeping them from under foot while I try and workout. One is to work out when the little ones are down for their naps, which might work but it depends on my older one cooperating and playing by herself for that time. Or I can wait until night time when all three are in bed (hopefully) and do some workouts then. Or I can wake up earlier. I don't really like the options were I have to cut into my sleep/relaxation time, because, lets face it, I'm busy all day and everyone needs some downtime. I guess I just have to keep trying different things until I find what works for us.

Keep up the good work ladies, and keep commenting on your progress. We all would like to hear how everyone is doing (the good and the bad). This is for support and encouragement when we feel like just giving up and eating that oh-so-delicious-but-really-bad-for-you food item.

Confession time; I love potato chips and pop. I can go without the chips for a while, but even thinking about taking away my Diet Coke and I'll go nuts! I need suggestions to break that habit, if anyone has any ideas.

Hi, ladies!! Could I join the weight loss support group you have going here? I have joined Weight Watchers in the past, and I was never able to lose a substantial amount of weight since I only met with the support group once a week. I would feel inspired after the meeting, but the next day, it was all out of my mind again. What I need is the day-to-day "kick in the butt" to get me through. I currently weigh 253 pounds and would like to be down to 140 at the end of it all. I do have a Wii Fit, but I never seem to be able to get on it because my kids won't get out from under my feet when I start my workouts. Any suggestions there?

I finally got my Wii fit plus! Took forever as they are hard to get in my area. I can see now that I need to be doing more working out than I have been doing. But Spring is here now and that makes me feel like going outside and walking and getting into the fresh air. We'll try getting everyone out today and see how it goes with the little ones. Hopefully they do good so we can make it a daily routine.
As for eating healthy, well, I haven't been doing so good in that department. I've been a picky eater my whole life, and its hard to change that, especially when I'm constantly running after kids and don't really have a lot of time to research new recipes.

If anyone has any favorite family meals, feel free to share them here. We would all appreciate the new recipes!

Hope everyone is doing good.

Hey ladies, I would love to join! Better late than never right? I have a 22 month old son so working out can be a challenge. I am currently staying at home but work part time substitute teaching when I can get a job. My boyfriend is in Law school so we have a pretty high stress level around our house with him being gone anywhere from 8-12 hours a day seven days a week. I currently weighing in at 274, and would like to get atleast 80-100 pounds off. I have a wii and Wii active (and active more workouts) that I would but can't get past that 2 week workout mark. I just restarted a 6 week workout, but I will actually be home the full 6 weeks so hopefully it goes better. But anyways I am glad I found this thread!!!!!!

My favorite meal:

Tater Tot Hot Dish

One can of each needed; (or fresh if you've got it)

Corn, Cream Corn, cut Greenbeans, sliced carrots, Cream of "something" soup (I like cream of celery, but my mom uses cream of mushroom)

Also need ground beef (I'm veggie so we use one bag of the veggie protein crumbles and it tastes just as good)

What you do is cook the meat completely then spread it on the bottom of a casserole dish. (veggie protein crumbles don't need to be cooked first) Add all the canned ingrediants including one soup can of water. (Mix it up good in the dish so everything is even.) Cover it all with a layer of Tater Tots then put in the oven at 350 for about 45 minutes or until you can see that the tater tots are cooked on top.

Great family meal with plenty of veggies!

Hey Cherilyn! Welcome to the group! I don't know any knee-friendly exercises personally besides the swimming pool, but maybe somebody here does. I weigh 230 now (down 20 pounds since the beginning of this conversation! Yeah!) and I know exactly how you feel as far a money being tight and not being able to afford the good foods. We try and get as much fresh fruits and veggies as we can, but sometimes we just can't afford a lot of it. Sometimes I just try to add a little bit to every meal, like last night we had tacos and I chopped some tomatoes and got some lettuce. Not an extravagant addition, but the way I look at it every little bit helps.
I wish we could garden, but we live in an apartment so its not really a possibility right now. My grandpa and two aunts have a HUGE garden each (they live on farms) so maybe this year I can get some stuff from them.
Hope your knee and hip don't give you too much trouble.

Just found this support chat. I have been fighting against loosing weight for many years. I weigh 268 Ibs and would love to loose atleast 80 but would love to loose 100. I have problems with my back , knees and rt hip. Dr says it would all get better if I lost weight. Easier said then done. So with these pains as well as the problems in shoulder(go numb alot as well as pain), I find it hard to do alot of exercises. I got a step machine. I started with doing 100 steps per leg and have worked up to 250 per leg but I end up with pain in knee. Sometimes me knee is so sore, I can't bring myself to even get on the machine. I was doing some pool exercises but with it being winter..no pool. Don't have the $$ to go to a gym, so if anybody has any ideas about any exercises I may be able to do, that would be fantastic. I don't eat alot but know I don't eat healthy enough. In summer we have a big garden with lots of veggies and I put some in freezer but other then that, we only buy fruit when we have extra money as money is tight as we have both lost our jobs and have to use the food bank. Any support would be great. My husband doesn't understand when I break down and cry or get upset over my weight. He says he loves me the way I am. I am beautiful. He doesn't understnd how I feel. He used to be big in school, but for guys it is different. It doesn't seem to bother them. He became an alcoholc and drank more then ate. He now weighs 160. He hasn't tough a drink in over 5 yrs( I wouldn't have married him otherwise). Anyway, hoping to loose to make myself feel better both mentally and physically. Good luck everybody.

Michele - For me its all about moving my butt as much as I can through the day. I have three small children, and its hard to keep up with them, but I want to be the type of mom who can run around the playground and go down slides with the kids (right now I'd probably get stuck, lol) I try to get as many fresh veg. and fruits into my daily eating as possible, kind of the hardest part for me because I have a hard time remembering to eat at all when I'm chasing around the kids and cleaning up the house.
As for the Dr. maybe he/she thought you meant a diet drug or surgery? Anyway, kind of a rude response, I agree, but dr. is kind of right. Diet and exercise as much as you can, increase when you can, and soon (hopefully for all of us) it will become a part of our daily routines and we'll be dropping the pounds off. Good luck!

I've just found this group. I want to lose 108 pounds. My doctor says lose 50 lbs or I'll for sure get type 2 diabetes like both my parents. I'm about the age they were both diagnosed so I'm a little scared. I have 2 small children that I have a hard time keeping up with and would like to play with them more. I told my doctor I needed help losing weight and he said "No you don't. Just diet and exercise." Nice, huh? So do you guys post how you're doing every day? Regularly? Do you have individual buddies that you email every day?

Hey Ladies,
I hope that you don't mind me joining in. I just found you all on here. I have been looking for a group like this to get me some desire and motovation to lose the weight that I need to (about 80-100 pounds). I would love to join if you don't mind. I have been trying to loss my weight for many years and my best friend was my support but she passed away suddenly in December and lately my son has been really talking about how he is wanting a sibling I told him I want/need to lose my weight first. Five years ago I lost about 85 pounds then I found out that I was pregnant and I have been trying every since I had my son to lose the weight. In my heart I am really driven to want to lose the weight so I can feel better and look better for my husband and son. I would really like to join in on the support team. I would love to know that I have someones back and that they have mine.

I have been currently reading the biggest loser books and working out by doing about 30 minutes of cardio and trying to watch my intake. I never know if I am doing enough so i bought one of the biggest loser workout dvd to try and get me some jump to my weight loss.

Better late than never, right? I have not been on circle of moms in FOREVER and found this post today! I had Lap-band surgery done in May 06 and got pregnant with my son the next month. So needless to say it thru a big loop in my weight-loss. Well, he is almost 3 and I've only lost 45 lbs total since my surgery, It was definitely not a quick fix...it is a tool to help you but if you still eat the wrong foods it is of no use to you! Since November I have been doing pretty good. I've lost 20 lbs and am newly motivated. I just have no desire to exercise except for the usual house cleaning I'm not doing much in that department. I keep saying when spring gets here I'll get off my butt and walk outside. I hope I can gain some inspiration from you guys!

I DVR the Oprah show and last night I sat down to watch like several of the 20+ episodes that I am behind and I watched the show on Diabetes. then the show with Ruby, and then the show about intervention. wow, needless to say afterward I was psyched to do something about my weight. I know what to do to lose, I have always known but lke so many others my eating is for other reasons, what is eating us. So I decided to ask for support (daily) from this site. I know the only way to get through this is with your help. My current weight is 242lbs, I am 5'8. I am going to set a goal to get down to 145lb but I am not going to set a time frame. My main focus is going to be on how I feel. anyone can contact me at anytime if they need support as well.

Really excited today! We got our tax returns back, and decided that we could splurge and buy a Wii and Wii Fit Plus. We went and bought the system yesterday, but since they were out of the Fit Plus package, we are going to have to wait to get that part, but I feel a new energy and drive just thinking about having a way to workout in my home. For those of you who have been following this conversation, you know that I'm limited to what I can do because of the weather and the ages of my children. I'm excited to get started with a new routine because I feel like I've plateaued and need to step it up a little more.

Hope everyone else is going strong!

I'm glad so many women are being inspired by this group. It's a tough challenge, and an embarrasing one too. Who wants to admit to 100 extra pounds? On a daily basis I feel like just giving up, and not even trying anymore. To tell the truth, the only reason I don't is because I watch "The Biggest Loser" and I really don't want to end up one of those 500 + pounds person. Its hard, I feel unattractive and ugly most of the time, and I hate looking in mirrors. But I know I'm strong enough to beat this! And so is every woman here!!! We will get there, it just takes one step at a time. So don't quit!
Good luck ladies!

I've hit a plateau. I'm not loosing any weight, and I'm not gaining any either. Kind of a good news/bad news situation. I suspect its because of the winter. I can't get out of the house because its too cold for the kids to be out for any length of time. I know I should be trying to compensate by doing more indoors, but right now its not happening. I live in a tiny two-bedroom apartment over a family of hyper-sensitive people who complain whenever my boys crawl around. Having to constantly chase my kids around to keep them from making too much noise has really left me with no motivation to work out and risk making too much noise myself. I need spring! Hope everyone else is doing better!

2010! The year I make it down below the 200 lb mark!!!! Only 30 more pounds to go for that particular challenge. (don't worry, I won't be stopping there!) I'm getting back on track after the holidays, and have taken up walking the hallways of my apartment building. (Its 15 below zero here, so walking outside is NOT an option.) The scenery is borning, lol, but atleast I'm moving my butt!
I want a Wii soooo bad, I keep on seeing all the comercials on tv about all the new workout games available, and I've played my nephew's. Guess I'll have to make due with the dvds I have until I get my own system.

Okay, so I was going to get on and appologize for not posting for a while. My internet went out on me for a while. But now I see no one was on, so I don't feel bad about it anymore.

Life is going good. I actually haven't weighed myself in a while, going on how I feel rather than what the scale says. I think its the best way to get through the holidays, instead of stressing about that fraction of a pound that constantly fluctuates.

I am having a hard time doing any type of exercise, my boys are not sleeping through the night and I'm am just exhausted throughout the day, I don't have the energy to actually workout. Jasmine and I went out for a walk yesterday - COLD! - but we wrapped up and got outside after Daddy got home and could watch the babies.

I don't know what they did to this site, but this is AWFUL!!!!  I hope it changes back soon.

Weight loss--this weekend was tough. I was just frustrated with life in general and didn't even want to think about eating right. I guess we all have days like that...I just have to work at keeping those days as far apart as possible. I've been taking the stairs when going out side in stead of the elevator as much as possible. Obviously can't with the stroller, but when I go down to get mail do. I've also stopped trying to get the closest parking space when out shopping. I think every little thing helps. I didn't know it, but apparently my community offers weightloss classes, like kettledrum and water aerobics. I just got a cataloge in the mail, and thought that I would see if I could take a course. The one I really want to try is a 4-week intesive weightloss class where you can meet and work out 3 or 5 times a week and burn off as much fat as possible. A little too expensive though :( Maybe next time...right before swimsuite season. (Maybe this summer I'll actually wear one, lol)
Anyway, I'm doing better this week, and I hope you guys are too. Sorry to hear about your alergic reaction, Michelle, never heard of that happening to anyone before. Hope you're feeling better. Thanks for the encouragement Lureen!
Happy Thanksgiving! to the Americans! May not post again until after. Keep strong

[deleted account]

Morning ladies!
OK Dayna, get back on the wagon. No more cheat days until Christmas! :)
Sorry to hear how bad your week was Michelle. Way to jump right back in with a good attitude!
Yes we want to drop some of this we have now so we can cheat a bit for Christmas. :)
I had a pretty busy weekend. Hubby and I had a date day Sat. I wasn't really good, but wasn't horrible either. Was really bad friday though. Guess thats why my weigh in this morning had me at 2 lbs more! :( Have to make myself exercise this week. Hopefully I won't have to work. It's going to be hard to keep the weight done and harder to even loose it with Thanksgiving right in the middle! But we can do it!!
Be strong this week and figure out something to do to get your heart rate up to burn those calories!!

Hi girls, hope ye are doing well, sounds as if u are! I've been off the radar 4 the last week, sorry that I deserted you. Had a crap week but I did realize it and kinda told myself to enjoy it because it's not going to happen again! Last saturday got my hair dyed for a big nite out (went from blonde to brunnette!!!), had an ellergic reaction and my face and eyes swelled up, looked like something from star wars, lol! Didn't get back to normal til thursday, in the mean time my daughter Megan got sick so she was off school, also had a meeting with child psycologist 4 my 7 year old boy Dean and was diagnosed with dylexia..... so needless to say the healthy eating and exercise regime went so far out the window that I just waved at it,lol! I've put on 2 1/2 lbs!
Today is monday and a fresh start I'm all motivated again and want to get a fair bit off before christmas, that way I wont have to be so anal for christmas week. So, come on girls just another few weeks and then everyone will be joining us(everyone wants to loose weight in the new year, dont they??) Hope ur doing well, talk to u tomorrow, michelle xx

I have to work today and I'm not feeling to motivated right now. I am tired, and just want to relax and not think about anything. No thinking about calories, no exercise, no fat vs. skinny. Just nothing today, but being with my family. Maybe that's not the way I should be feeling, but...I don't really care right now.
I'll worry about all of that tomorrow--today is my cheat day.

I'm feeling sluggish today, even though I worked. Didn't feel like working out when I got home.

Wednesday! Hump day (as its called in my part of the world...no dirty meaning intended, lol) Got to go on my walk yesterday. It was windy, but he sun was out and it was a relatively beautiful day. While I was walking I realized something that made me smile. When we first moved to our place and I would have to walk to the store, it was quite a challenge (mind you its only about 2 1/2 blocks) I would be winded and tired and feeling like I was ready to collapse by the time I got home. Not so anymore! That 2 blocks feels like it should, JUST 2 blocks! Its enough to get my heart going and I increase my speed to make the walk count, but I don't feel like dying anymore when I'm done!!! My weight may not be coming off as fast as I would wish (but seriously, is a hundred pound in one day realistic? lol) but my body is getting more in shape and used to moving.
Baby steps, baby steps, and by next summer (my ten year high school reunion!) I should be down a considerable weight and not still carrying around that extra person.

Yes, Dayna, that is the key I think too. One day at a time!

Keep an eye open for the after thanksgiving sales. I just got an email for a sale on amazon for the wii and the wii fit w/board and 50$ GC all for $290. I was good today. I did 35min. of aerobics on the Wii fit. Yes, if you do it long enough it will feel like a good work-out. I'm usually heavy breathing and getting 'warm' at 30 min.

I am working tomorrow and thurs. so I won't get a wok-out in, so hopefully I can do one Friday.

Remember, housework is exercis too!! :)

I'm jealous...a wii fit! I want one of those! Does it actually feel like a workout? The price of Wiis have gone down here, but still can't afford one :(
Yesterday was so busy, we had an appointment to get to at 1:30, and I feel like I spent all morning getting everyone ready to go, then I had dinner to make and a few minutes to spend with Craig before he went to bed. No time for exercising (or cleaning, my house is a disaster! lol). Today I'm hoping to go for a walk, need to get to the grocery store and there is one a few blocks from us.
I think the trick is taking everything one day at a time. I feel so unmotivated sometimes, like the journey is too big, but when I think about "today" only it seems more doable.
Keep going!

Yes its Monday! Our weather is horrible and we are having flood warnings go out all over! I hate winters here! Anyway, it being Monday I had my weigh-in. Wasn't looking forward to it since I was really bad this week eating. So this morning after I got my little one off to school I did about 25min. on my Wii Fit and then 16min fast riding on my stationary bike. Good thing too! I dropped 5lbs since last weeks weigh-in! YAY!! I think I'm realizing I don't have a problem with my eating so much but with my exercise, or lack of. If I kick myself in the butt and actually exercise regularly I may drop this weight easier and be happier sooner! lol
Good job Dayna, keep it up!
Keep it up Michelle! The best way to loose it is slowly, then its more likely to stay off!
Gonna cook up some fish and rice for dinner tonight. Talk to ya'll later!

It's Monday! I'm not sure if taking the kids down to the workout room will work. Its a tiny room, just big enough for a treadmill and a weightlifing machine. I don't have a pack-n-play at our house, just at grandma's so that would mean the kids would be crawling around. Jasmine, my 2 year old, can reach door knobs now, so I would probably be chasing kids around instead of working out. But hey, that's a sort of exercise too, right? lol. I'll try it, won't hurt to find out if they can do it.

I ate better last week and dropped a couple of pounds. It's nice to see the scale going down for a change. The weather here is getting cold! Frost on the ground now, won't be much longer and we'll have snow. (Snowed in October, but it didn't stick)

Wonder what happened to Summer? Hope she's doing okay.

Talk to everybody later. Keep on shedding that weight!

Good morning everybody, hope ye are well.Down 20lbs in total so feeling good about that, still more to do but as I keep telling myself it's not a race and it's taken probably 15 years to creep on so I can keep going for as long as it takes.
Lureen, that is the six million dollar question isn't it, wish i knew the answer. I think I am just going to have to be really strict on myself. I am going to try and set one hour a day say 9.30-10.30 to exercise, if i make it a regular time and try to get it into my head that it has to be done, hopefully it will become routine, after all we HAVE to pick up the kids everyday so I'm going to put it to myself that it is like that and has to be done!!! Wish me luck with that one,ha ha! Anyway ladies I'm off to have my cereal, these exciting things have to be done you know!!! talk to you all soon and hope ur having a good weekend, michelle xx

Morning ladies! It looks like our biggest problem here is the EXERCISE part! We can get ourselves to eat better and stay with that part, but we can't get ourselves to exercise! So how do we motivate each other to do it every day?

I am with you both, I hate watching the exercise programs. Its a waste of time for me. lol

Dayna, is there any way you can take the kids down to the workout room with you? Put the babies in a playpen/pack-n-play (whatever its called now) lol and have the 2yo something to do. She would probably play around with the other equipment. Or take a portable dvd player for her to watch her favorite movie. Or...go down after the kids are in bed and he can just listen for the kids.

Michelle, glad you had a better day! Keep it up!

I haven't done any exercising this week. I really need a swift kick in the butt! I think about riding my bike and decide I'm to tired, or I'm busy, or I just don't feel like it. Now our winter is here and it's rainy, gloomy and cold and doesn't help the mood! I told my hubby he was going to do it with me and he said 'what for? why do I have to?' lol

How can we get the motivation we need?!

Hi girls, today is better, sorry for the negativity yesterday, some days are just harder!! Thanx Lureen for the encouragement, ur right about starting slow it's really not as daunting that way and Dayna thanx to u too.....so it's not just me that has no interest in exercise dvds, thank god for that, lol!! Ate well today, thats 90% of the battle, I think if u eat well u feel better and have more energy, didnt do any exercise but the weather is very bad at the moment....freezing cold and when it's not raining ,it's hail-stoning(is that a word?).All in all good day and hopefully even better tomorrow. I know what ur saying Dayna about not being able to be away from family for 8 weeks, I get tearful if I'm away for 2 days, although we would probably loose all our weight in that time by being unable to eat because of our home-sickness,not going to test that theory out though!!! Talk to ye tomorrow and tell ye what the scales say(that should be fun). michelle xx

DVDs can be really boring, not to mention kind of depressing. (who wants to see extremely fit people do exercises that barely even make them sweat while we are struggling to breath just in the "warm-up"?) I've a whole collection, and every weekend I think, "this week I'll start again" and then monday comes...now it's thursday and I'm sure you can guess what I haven't done this week. I think, for me, its just too stressful right now. I mean, the boys always cry when I start a DVD session (not sure why), and I can't do some of the moves because my downstairs neighbor will most likely come up complaining that I'm shaking their apartment (they complain about everything, but I don't think I would blame them if I started doing jumping jacks, lol) What I'm going to have to concentrate on is getting down to the workout room we have in the building. Its got a really nice treadmill. Now I just have to convince Craig to watch the kids for an hour after his ten-hour shift at work when all he wants to do is sit and do nothing. Sometimes I think I want to go on The Biggest Loser, but there is no way I could leave my family for up to 8 weeks! I don't know how they can do that!

Good job Dayna! I think you're 'walk' to the park was a really good work-out! lol

Michelle, start small. Go for a walk. Do you have stairs? Walk up and down them. Don't worry about starting the DVD right away, start slow and work your way to it. Take a walk around the block or out to the mailbox or the end of the road. Do it every day. After a few days you'll start feeling better about it. You can do it!

Alyssa, Summer, how are you both doing??

Hey ladies, thought I should touch bases with u today although I havent much to report!! Doing ok but, as Dayna said could be doing better... feel like I have become a little relaxed with what I'm eating and as for the dreaded dvd havent even taken it out of the case yet, really got to sort myself out, dont want to fail girls. Have any of u got any inspiring words for me???? I know it's down to me but sometimes it feels like a constant battle. Look forward to hearing from u, michelle xx
