Hi ladies after the birth of my second child I weighed in at 167 lb which I was not happy about. A friend of mine had just become a Slimming World consultant and she suggested that I try Slimming World as she had lost 84 lb in just over a year so I gave it a go. I lost 28 lb in 6 months and I am now back in the jeans I was wearing when I met my husband 12 years ago. It was the easiest diet I have ever done. It is more about cooking healthy meals from scratch than denying yourself the things that you love. I can have chocolate everyday if I choose to but as long as I make good choices the rest of the time I still lose weight. My cooking in general has become much healthier which in term means the food u am feeding my kids is healthier so it's good all round. I am not sure which country's other than the UK have Slimming World meetings but I know you can do it online. I hope some of you might find this helpful. Good luck with your journeys x

I weigh on a bad day 204. My weight changes day to day! I am not happy with this weight, but I am happier than I was 33lbs ago!! What am I doing to change it, well I started off just taking a weight loss pill & since losing the 33lbs I have been working out 2 days a week & I have gotten lucky that my neighbor is going to school to be a personal training & she needs a test subject!! So I am getting another workout in starting this wed & then next month I will be joining the Y where my neighbor works & she will help me out there too!! I have also been working with her on my calories & she has me at 1500 to 1800 a day (I stay at 1500 for right now)

I currently weight about 240 lbs and I am definitely not happy with it. If I could get down under 200 lbs I would be thrilled. Am about to start exercising more (at least 45 minutes of brisk walking or half an hour of swimming 5 days a week) and cutting down on portion sizes.

Well, here comes 'brave'.

I weigh 296 lbs and want to get to at least 200 lbs (I'm 6 feet tall and very broad in the frame, so would be a nice slim size at that point, despite the bmi). 189 lbs is what I am supposed to get to, but we'll see. At this point, even 250 lbs would be an improvement!

I weigh roughly 165. When I started, i weighed about 201. I am 5 feet 5 inch, so I am not very tall. I can not stand it. I have been close to the 200 range for about 2-3 years. My weight gradulally got there after I had my son in 2000. I have not done to much to loose it, but watched what I ate. I have been under a lot of stress for almost 3 years and I know that has not helped. But I have been maintaining my weight so now I am going to have to start working to loose it. I would like to lose between 30-40 pounds, so I will be at a healthy weight and so I will feel good about myself and what I have accomplished. I am going to get on a schedule with being more active and set time aside to workout, So if anyone knows of any good workouts, please let me know. Good luck to everyone on their weight lose journey.

I currently weigh 179lb (started this year at 220). I have lost 41lb this year (still have about 60 to go), and most of that has been in the last 10.5 weeks (30lb). After struggling with obesity for 15+ years, this program has helped me immensely. It has been quite simple, my cravings are gone, and I can't remember the last time I felt this good (and my weight is now the lowest that it has been in over 15 years).

My goal is the be down to 200 by March and down to 155 by June. (yeah right) but hey I am trying. so YES I AM BRAVE ENOUGH FOR THIS POST! LOL

im 5'1". 187.5 lbs. I wear a size 12-14.

I was 168 before i got pregnant. i gained 30 lbs within the 1st 8 months of my pregnancy, then gained 15 more the last week (pre-eclampsia). after my c-section i lost 30 right away (breastfeeding). then i gained 5 over the past 11 months. I have 20 to lose to get back to where i was pre-preg,

my measurements are 42/34/42, so i still have the same body shape i did before i got pregnant it's just BIGGER. I am not happy with the way i look, but at the same time i am not motivated enough to really change anything.

I dont eat a lot during the day or night, but when i do eat its not very balanced (not enough veggies) and i don't drink enough water. diet pop mostly.

I dont exercise, except for the random elliptical jogs a few times a week. i just dont have the energy.

I'd like to lose 50 lbs but i'd be happy with 30 (heck, 20 even, at least that would put me back to where i was before i got pregnant.)

I don't have a thyroid and have NO metabolism, so even when i do work out and eat right (weight watchers) i usually only lose 6 lbs and then plateau. it's very discouraging.

Also my husband and I walk about 2 miles every morning. I also have started doing some beginners yoga. We have been doing this for about 2 weeks now and I have gained 4lbs. I don't know what I am doing wrong. any advice would help thank you.

Right now I weigh about 160-165lbs. Before I had my last I was about 157lbs...this is very small for me!! I think the last time I weighed this was in Middle school!! In High School I was alway around 175-180lbs and very involved in sports all the time. I can honestly say that I rarely work out...my work out is walking at my job and playing with my children. Do I watch what i eat...not really!!! I enjoy all kinds of food and when I want chips or cake I eat it!!! Try not to worry about it to much but some nice things to do to try and loose weight is to snack and trying not to eat to big of meals. It is better to snack than to eat a lot!!! Also before you do eat a large meal drink more fluids...that will fill you up and make you eat less!!!!!!! Good Luck!!!

I am NOT happy, and would love to have about 20 pounds of fat and excess flabby skin gone from my body. I once weighed in at 115 (as 20 year old kid-less girl) and would love to get down to 125 (a healthy weight for my height and body type!). My biggest challenge seems to be finding the WILL to keep with any program. I always find some reason to fall off the wagon, as it were. I seem to have a hard time sticking to any one thing, no matter what it is. *sigh* Heck, I've even got six books on weight-loss and or money management that I haven't finished! lol

My current weight is 177.2lbs. The past couple of years I haven't been working and put on 40lbs and got up to my heavest weight 202lbs. I was completely disgusted with myself. Finally I did something about it and have lost over 20lbs since July. I am looking to lose another 35 to 40lbs to get to a healthy BMI. I have 3 children that I can thank for adding on the weight but only myself to blame for keeping it there. I now count my calories daily and work our 6x week. 3 days a week I walk 3 miles and the other 3 days I do strength training. Healthy foods, no carbs, no sugars, and a TON of water. I drink at least 4 liters of water a day.

198.5lbs nope, not happy with my weight. I am doing a LOT to change my weight. I do step aerobics 2-3 times a week. 3-4 mile hike 2-3 times a week. 1 hour mall walk with mommy playgroup 1-2 times a week. Plus Ab Ripper X and 4 minute legs 2-3 times a week.

Food wise, no whites, I switched to multigrain and whole wheat, 4 bottles of water a day. Fruit smoothies after workouts and increased veggies with meals. Plus I have greatly reduced pork and beef to only once or twice a month. I have cut eating out and sodas. Its been a few weeks and i've only lost 5lbs but to make it hard I have PCOS and insulin resistance. I'm competing in a facebook biggest loser contest so my goal is 25lbs in 10 weeks and 30-40lbs by the end of the year.

My little one is 8 months and technically I guess I have lost all my baby weight BUTTTT. I would like to be 170lbs ideally closer to 150-160

I gained 60lbs with my first and didn't lose all of it then with my 2nd I gained 30lbs and lost it pretty fast, but with my 3rd I have not lost a pound I even gained. I believe it is because I stopped working and stuck at home all the time. I started a new diet on Monday weighing in at 200lbs. I have lost 8lbs thus far and down to 191. It is hard with the cravings and I have to use alot of will power but it will be worth it in the long run. For those of you wondering what I am doing. Hcg, it is a god send.

Eat right and excersise alot, and make sure you keep hydrated, especially in the sun. If I can lose it you can too ! :). I have a very slow metabolism. I am still not as happy with the way I look, but it is slowly getting there. Rome was not built in a day :). I weigh 180 lbs. I have lost 40 lbs so far so I am happy about that since the last time I weighed 180 lbs was before I had my first child but I am still wanting to lose more. I like being curvy though so another 20 lbs and after that, I will stay active and still eat healthily, but I'm not going to stress if I have an off day. I have been eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, only multigrain breads and crackers, lots of brown rice instead of potatoes or perogies, fish and chicken (occasional roast or ribs or ham but I've cut down to eating meat only 2-4 times a week, I go for a walk almost every day, do sit-ups and a couple other toning exercises. I'm very involved with my children too so that helps keep me active throughout the day. I usually eat something sweet once a day like a cookie or small peice of chocolate just to keep myself from falling back into my old eating habits. I've learned that if I try to be too strict with myself, I end up giving up on the whole thing.

I'm at 150 lbs. And no, I'm not happy at all. I still have another 25 to go until I'm back to pre-pregnancy. I gained around 50-60 lbs while pregnant (Yikes) and I only had a 6 lb 10 oz son, so the weight was pretty much all me. I take my 7 month old for about a half mile walk, and just this Monday, I started doing my pilates dvd while my son naps. But since my son is an erratic napper, I'll see how long that lasts. LOL But it's hard for me to eat healthy, I've always ate more junk food then healthy food. So even when I try to eat healthy, it just doesn't work.

And I am breastfeeding, and the weight isn't coming off like a lot of people said it would. :(

So I wiegh 250 lbs, however I am very fit and do alot of cardio work. I hate my new weight as I still have excess baby fat that doesn't want to leave. I gained 52 lbs during pregnancy. I breastfed for the first 2 months, and played rugby, and it helped a little, but I just can't seem to get the rest off. So all in all , no I hate my body as it stands ATM. Hopefully within a the next 6-8 months it will all go back. It takes 9 months for your body to stretch and accumulate baby, so hopefully it will take approx. 9 months to fix itself, with the right excersise and diet.

I am ridiculously obese! I used to be so cute and loved myself so much, now I'm almost 240 lbs and miserable, angry, depressed, and incredibly self-conscious. Before I was pregnant, we moved to a new town (village, actually,) and I started at a new job. I was previously working as a server- running my ass off all day- then went to being an assistant teacher in an infant room at a daycare; I was sitting for probably 6 hours out of an 8 hour day, at work. We thought the area we moved in was really nice, but once we settled in we noticed it was not so. I didn't know the area at all, my man was always working when I was home, and I was pregnant within a month of moving in. So I got home from a job where I sat on my tush all day, then sat at home and did nothing when I wasn't working. We've moved since to a nicer area, but on a very busy street. I'm so self-conscious that I am afraid to go for walks or go to the gym because I don't want people to see me and make fun of me. I've struggled with wieght my entire life, I was at 270 lbs when I began losing weight, and dropped down to 130-140 within a year. It may have been unhealthy, but I felt so good and was so happy and had friends! Now I have like no friends because I have no confidence and am too depressed to be around anyone. When I try and make friends with someone, I end up holding back because I tell myself- no one wants to be friends with a fat girl, Erin. I've been trying different things here and there, and keep telling myself I can do it, but always end up slipping up at some sort of holiday or gathering or whatever. I'm just going to start always eating healthy, even if it's a special occasion. If anyone wants to be friends with me and share ideas or tips, let me know! I'd love to hear from others and I'm sure many of us could use the support. Good luck to all of you :) ♥

I'm right at 200 and supposed to weigh 160 for my height. My frustration is that I eat healthy and do 30 minutes of cardio every day (and then weights and other stuff sometimes too) and it's just not coming off. I saw a dietician and got a prescription, but that made me wired and I couldn't sleep. So, I'm just frustrated :) lol
It's coming off very slowly, but at least I know I'm healthy.

I was in a bad car accident when I was a teen. And before they let me out of the hospital they told my mom that i had to weigh 140 lbs. My mom tried explaining to them that I had a small body frame. But they felt they knew best. (I was 100 before the accident) So they got me up to 148 and then let me out. I have been gaining more and more weight and I have no excuse now days for it. I want to get back down to 140.
