how much water should i drink to loose weight?

I weight about 200lbs and im really trying to loose weight fast. I stopped drinking sodas and im only drinking water for now, I just don't kow how much water i should be drinking to loose weight in combination with eatting better.

My co-worker said drinking 4 liters or 132oz of water a day was good but I want to make sure that is correct and is not too much.

Drink water whenever you get hungry and it will help you ALOT. I did this and dieted for a year and lost 65 lbs..... it was awesome. However, I also exercised (dancing helped my midsection the most) walked a bit more and kicked a soccer ball around for fun which helped my thighs.. Swimming is the best, but how many of us have access to a pool? :( sadness.......

Anyway, just research how much water is safe to consume, because you can overdose on it and get very sick. Otherwise, drink away! I downed it lots....... :)

It is recommended that you should drink 2 litres of water a day to flush the kidneys and keep you full up. Have a large glass of water before a meal also helps not to eat so much. Do not drink 4 litres of water this is a huge amount and can cause you to get a water infection if you are constantly peeing.
