hi, i don't get on here enough for every other day, but I joined weightwatchers.com online version and I have lost 20 lbs in 5 weeks. I am so happy. I wish you all the luck. I tried everything, but I love food. This way I get to eat what I want and not feel guilty. Good Luck to you.

Let Tony eat his chips ;o) I am the same as you, i LOVE junk food... and well, it shows on me A TON... I have also been choosing healthy things while shopping for food. The junk food only makes it to my cart once in a while, well, more like once a month durring PMS time LOL! It is good when you start to feel more in control over what you do for yourself. Since joining Curves on May 6th, I have been feeling more confident about losing weight and getting back into shape. I have been in to workout every day they are open since i joined and even tho i have only gone through 10 workouts so far, durring the last few days I have been able to push myself harder and do more reps. It feels great! Here's to getting healthy and our bonus, bringing sexy back!

Well Hi girls,sorry it has been awhile since I've been on but I have been so depressed lately and didn't want to bother anyone.These past few months have been so hard on me cause Tony was out of work.He finally got a job and he starts Tuesday.Hope he likes it cause jobs are hard to find lately.He applied to over 80 jobs before he got this.Now I hope the stress leaves...and yes I put on weight too.I now weigh 149 pounds.To all you new comers, that is alot for me.I'm usually 120 to 125.I was sick this past week and had alot of time to think since I was grounded to the house.Only I can change my way of thinking and only I can change my weight.I feel I am in more control of me.I haven't felt that way in along time.Tony is so mean about it.We went shopping yesterday for food and I picked out better food choices and no junk food...but last nite he went out to fill the car up and came home with 4 or 5 bags of chips.He sat and ate a bag of them, ofcourse asking me if I wanted any and I said NO.You have to understand girls I LOVE junk food and for me to say no is a step in the right direction.I had celery instead.I will not let him bring me down.I think he wants me fat so no one else will look at me.What a dummie he is...I'm doing it to get healthier,and if I get sexy...well thats a bonus.Have a great day girls, I'm off to work.

Hi, can i join your thread? I'm lisa, 33 year old mom of 2 ages 6 & 8. Last Wednesday I joined the Curves in my town. Since 5/3 I have lost 5 lbs with a change of eating habits. I have cut out all bad carbs and eat mostly fruits/veggies, lean meats, cheese, light yogurts and soy milk. I find as long as I keep the variety there, I stick to eating right.



I have been pretty consistant and got through my first 7 workouts at the Curves. I have been going in every day since 5/6 (except for sunday because they are closed) and i have been actually feeling pretty good. A lot less tired than I have been feeling over the past few weeks.

Hey ladies, hope you are all well, lost 2.4 this week for a total of 7.2 so far, slow but coming off at least. Getting easier to follow plan, I am not at all hungry and not really missing all of the junk, feel so much better without all the grease and sugar, just have to keep it up.

Hey girls, had my galbladder and tubal surgery done on Monday so have been in bed, feels awful, I did get weighed on my way into surgery and lost 3 pounds this week, so I am 4.8/10 for the Mother's Day Challenge. Havent felt much like eating, mostly soup and toast, so will probably lose by default this week.

First weigh in at WW last night, lost 1.8 so 1.8/10 for Mothers Day Challenge. I worked really hard to lose that 1.8 and it seems like such a small amount for all that work, but trying to look at it positively, if I can lose that every week, it will add up, there were people in the meeting that had lost 20, 40, 60 pounds, so just have to stick with it. Making much better choices, drinking water, no pop, very little junk food, trying to have lost of protein and cut back on bread, crackers, etc. Hope you are all doing well,

Janice Happy Birthday to your baby. Mine turned 1 on the 7th and it was very hard my last baby as well. She is geting bigger and getting into everything though so maybe a new exercise program Keeping Up With Baby! lol. Liz great news on the hubby's job. Hope everything works out. Thanks Becky, she had a great birthday. I managed to only have a very small piece of birthday cake, which was totally not worth the points. My mom joined the online WW and she really liked it, she found it very motivating, but did eventually go back to the meetings, a lot of people have been successful with it, but I find it pricey. There are a lot of free sites where you can track your food and calories each day and anyone can log on to Weight Watchers and post to the message boards, which is what my Mom found the best part.

Way to go Janice. So glad you are kicking it in gear. I want to join WW too. Just the meetings are at the wrong time for me. Thinking about doing it online. Not sure if it would do the same thing for me.

Tammy..Keep up the hard work. I think you have to change something to get past your plataeu. Keep it up a knotch or do different excercises.

Hi ladies, my third day on WW and doing well, went to the movies yesterday and brought water and rice cakes while the girls had popcorn, bars and slushies and wasnt that bad. Tracking definitely makes a big difference, writing down everything you eat really makes you see where your patterns are. My baby is 1 today! Feeling a little melancholy as she is my last baby, going to get my tubes tied in a couple of weeks. Have to save enough points for a small piece of birthday cake!

Hi girls...had another hot day at work today. Sick people really do get cold easy. I had sweat rolling down my face and they ask me to put another blanket over them. The heat in the Hospital must be 25 degrees.Well it's helping me lose weight anyways.I still haven't weighed myself.Scared of what the scales might say. lol After I get off here Tony and I are taking the dogs for a walk so I better make this short and sweet. Ha! Ha! Becky I eatalot of rice.I figure if the Chiness eat it and stay slim it will work for me.And I eat alot of salads.Furit is suppose to be good for you to but I only lately have been eating apples.Tammy that is great that you lost 11 pounds.I am so proud of you and keep up the good work.I still plan on wearing my black bikine in the summer[ no matter what ].I'll post my weight when I've dropped 10 pounds.But I'm not sure what year that will be. GREAT NEWS, Tony went to an interview today and got a job but the bad news is that it may not start for 2 to 3 weeks. OK lost 11 lbs and now hit a plateau. Been busy talking to contractors about a possible HUGE remodel and planning my Washington DC trip. It's at the end of May and I also want new summer clothes so that is a motivator for me. Like Liz though my man is off work and it makes me uncomfortable to excercise around him. Hopefully the doc will let him go back to work soon. Planning on working alot of OT to pay for stuff so that helps cause I don't eat much at work. Welcome to our new buddies, I hope this helps you. Well, I bit the bullet and actually joined Weight Watchers. I have been following the plan on my own, but it just isnt the same, I need the meetings and a stranger weighing me in, I guess. So hope to post a good loss for next week. Becky, I find it really hard to come up with new ideas for lunch, but my new favorite salad is baby spinach with mandarin oranges, honey roasted almonds, chicken or bacon and poppyseed dressing, it is so good and is a meal instead of just a salad.

Weighed myself this morning. Lost another lb. so 1/10 for the challenge. I've got to get out and walk today.. I hope I can. It looks cold outside. It's windy and it rained yesterday all day. High today is 60.

I got weighed at the doc office the other day..Boy that made me upset. The scale is different. About 5-7 lbs different. yikes.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week..

Any good ideas for lunch? I think Im going to have a salad with turkey shredded.

Hey girls...Looks like we have some new members.Welcome.I worked all weekend and wasn't on and the weather has been so nice,I was out side doing yard work after work.Day off and it's suppose to be +18 today but looking out the window, it looks like rain.I haven't weighted myself in 2 weeks and don't plan too. That way if I do slip and gain a pound I will never know.Been walking alot.I take the dogs for long walks everyday. They love it and it helps me to get into shape cause they walk faster than me so I have to pick up the pace.I hurt my lower back at work Saturday morning so exersicing is out of the question for me right now.Even sitting too long...hope it heals fast.Anyways you girls have a great day and if I get the chance I'll be back on later.Lets all be losers together!!!! LOL

Hi Janice, my goal weight if I could ever get to it is...120 pounds. I feel my best at that weight.Yes it is so hard to exersice around him... if I go into another room to exersice he always seems to be there.I am very uncomfortable doing it around him the most.I know it's weird, I'm going to Bingo this afternoon just for some me time.I really need this time alone.I think I sometimes get to busy worring and doing everything for everyone else that I forget about me.I pray everyday that he'll find work. I've stuggled before but not like this.Tony has started to drink abit more cause he's depressed, and he hate sitting around the house.He goes to unemployment centre everyday [ no luck ].I've got hm into the habit of walking the dogs while I'm working evenings.That helps abit. OKAY, enough of this... I belive you can lose the weight by your Birthday.Will all have a party on here when you reach your comfortable weight.I am so glad I have people to talk too threw all this or I would go crazy. Hey Liz, why cant you exercise with Tony home? Do you feel uncomfortable? Hopefully he will find work, it must be hard to carry the extra burden. Funny, my goal weight is what you weigh now! Hi girls ,glad the Clan is back...I missed everyone lately.Janice you sould like me. My weight is crasy right now.Awhile ago I lost over 6 pounds but now I feel like I put it back on. [ depression ] I usely don't eat much when I'm feeling that way but lately I've been eatting alot of junk food.If it's not in the house then I go to the store and buy it.Tony says I look great but he loves me. Need I say more? My main pris that Tony got laid off and he's always around.I wish he'd get working soon then I could have my free time back to exersice.I know that sounds rasy but I can't lose weight with him here all the time.He's been looking but jobs are hard to find right now.My only wish is for him to find a job and take some of the burden off my back.Well the good news is that I'm still staying around the 140 to 145 mark, not any higher.[ thank god ].Stress should make me lose not gain...would ever invented stress lied. Sorry I have been totally AWOL on here, I used to get a notification whenever someone posted, but now I dont so I will have to check through Circle of Moms way. Had a few setbacks, went for an hour walk when baby started daycare and have not walked like that in almost a year, so guess I overdid it and I think I really need new sneakers because I have plantar fasciatis in one heel which is like someone putting a knife through my foot and calf everytime I put weight on it. Why is it these things happen when you are trying to do good things. Easter happened to conincide with my time of the month so definitely indulged in a bit of chocolate. I am floating all over the place. I was up a pound this week, down .4 week before, I really need to get serious. A girlfriend of mine started WW the same time I did which was a few months ago, and she is down 22 pounds, I am kicking myself because if I had followed plan, I could be down that too, thinking maybe I need to join and go to meetings, doing it myself just isnt the same. Oh well, going to try to forget what has happened and go forward, sooo depressed after being at the mall today and seeing all the cute clothes out for summer that I cant wear.

Wow I am like Liz my stupid Puter won't let me in Circle of Mom's, so I have to go on when DS let's me have his!!

WTG Tammy you go girl!!  I alas have been bad over Easter and i gained 2 pounds..thats ok cause I am back on the band wagon now and raring to go.

I have a challenge for you all..the Mother's day challenge.. as of tomorrow we weigh ourselves then next thursday we put our losses out of 10..10 being the maximum loss. So say next thursday I lose 2 pounds I will post it as 2/10!! and so on  til  Mothers day!!

I didn't lose any weight last week, but WILL lose some this week. Im sick and not eating much so im sure i'll lose a little. NOt the way to lose weight, but I'll take it. I went to doc. I have strep.. It's awful. very aggressive. My hubby and little boy has it too. They are sleeping right now so I had a few mintues to get on here. It's been a terrible week.

I did enjoy my parents coming up from FL. They stayed for 5 days. Well gotta run. Little one woke up..

AAHHH Tammy this too shall pass!!! Just do the best you can and don't beat yourself for everything, everything happens in its own time and one day you will get up and say today I will go for that walk or do that exercise dvd, until that time embrace the fact that you are doing great with your eating and go minute by minute...
