Hi Ladies, I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful festive time. So with New Years almost upon us do any of you have any resolutions about loosing some weight? Would you like some support from other members of the group? What are your resolutions and how do you plan to achieve them?

Hello everyone! I joined this group with the hopes that I would loose the 60 some pounds I put on over the past 6 years or so and I did absolutely nothing about it. Sure I would "diet" or take some green tea pill or do the replacement shakes.... I lost NOTHING!

4 months ago I made an appointment with a local weight loss surgery office, they wouldn't even see me. I ended up seeing a Dr. in the same office who did weight loss through a "diet" She told me what to eat and when, The first 8 weeks I opted to purchase her foods (soups, shakes & snack bars) and she told me how to cook my meals and what to eat.

I am here 16 weeks later 55 pounds lighter and feeling like a new person. Eating for me is different. I no longer just eat as a hobby lol! I have learned how to control my metabolism by the foods I eat.

I am here to say, it is possible to take that weight off, it wasn't easy especially the first 2-3 weeks. Keep it up, weight loss success is possible :)

Haven't been on here in FOREVER! But glad I saw this group tonight...I am trying very hard t drop the weight gained after having my daughter 9 months ago. Hope everyone is having good luck with their weight loss journey!!!

Hi Nikki,

Have started to try to loose weight... Its hard for me being that all my life had no problem with weight and after having the kids my metabolism changed and my body is now what is considered to be overweight and in an unhealthy weight.

I can't really take diet pills for they make me too jumpy and irritable.. I also struggle to eat less since when pregnant had that full feeling in my tummy seems like I felt empty after had the babies.. Have been under a lot of stress and anxiety and all of this does not help at all.. every time I resolute to start a diet or want to watch what I eat I seem to eat more!! Is there hope? My new experiment is the African Mango.. Found a site on Facebook with info about it.. ordered and it really does make me feel like I am full... Will try it for at least three months to see how I go.. anybody has tried this? and Yes, I do need support and encouragement... Have also signed up to a paid website that so called says they do this but all I see is advertising to spend more money finding out how to have the right exercise, meals... Oh come on! LoL Any thoughts?

I fail every year when I say I'm going to lose weight but this year I did it different. My fiance and I have created a biggest loser with my sister and her boyfriend. We start tomorrow and have til July 5(exactly 6mons) to see which couple loses the most. We created a facebook page for only us to see, where we will post our total lose weekly. I'm determined more then ever this year to lose weight because I need to find a wedding dress to be married in next year!!! Good Luck to everyone!

so far my resolution is to find out why at six months preggers i can fit into jeans that i couldnt fit into before i was preggers. lol at the begining i did tell a friend this was my weight loss baby

It is clear to me that many members of this group are only members to post their business information. I will no longer tolerate this, members found spamming will be blocked from the community immediately.

This community is for support, for women with real weight issues NOT for advertising.

Yes!! I try every year and FAIL!! I don't want to "DIET" this year - I am going to try and eat right and exercise. I NEED to do it right this year!! I would love some support from the other members also!!
