HI,EVERYONE I AM A MOMMY OF 5 BEAUTIFUL KIDS THEY ARE 11,8,3,2,AND 1 I FEEL LIKE AS MUCH RUNNING AROUND AS I DO AFTER THEM AND THE HOUSE I SHOULD BE AS SKINNY AS A RAIL BUT THAT IS WISHFUL THINKING SO I AM GOING TO START DRINKING LOTS OF WATER ,DOING SOME TAPES, AND WALKING WHEN I CAN GET AN EXTRA HAND WITH THE LITTLES ONES BUT DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD IDEAS TO HELP WITH LOOSING TUMMY FAT THATS WHERE I NEED IT MOST

A nice workout to add to your walking is Core Secrets. It is an exercise ball workout. It is fun and low impact. Another plus, the ball is a fun toy for the little ones when you are not exercising on it :o)

I have always watched my weight because my mother was always on a diet while I was growing up. Now that I've learned more, I realize that diets don't work because we go on diets and we go off diets. In addition to tapes, my mom told me about this interval training that has really worked for me! It's super easy and it only takes 20-25 minutes and you only do it three times per week. You start with a 2 - 2 1/2 min walk (not real fast) as a warm up, then you follow it by a 30 second all-out walk as fast as you possibly can, then another 2 minute slower paced walk and repeat the 30 second intervals 8 times total, then end with another 2 - 2 1/2 minute cool down. You can also do this with running, but I find that too difficult, at least just starting out! I combine this with workout DVDs and I've finally lost some weight. Make sure you leave at least one day rest in between your interval training so your body can recover. I also kept a calorie log. I was surprised at how many calories I was really eating!!! WELL GLAD TO HEAR YA LOST SOMETHING EVEN IF IT WAS ONLY A HALF A POUND IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO SEE THAT SOME OF YOUR HARD WORK IS PAYING OFF I HAVE YET TO STEP ON A SCALE PUTTING IT OFF LOL I AM DOING HOUSEWORK AS WELL USED MY CLOTHES LINE FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY AND I LOVE TO GET A WALK IN BUT SOMETIMES ITS HARD WITH ALL THE KIDS YOU WOULD THINK AS MUCH AS I AM RUNNING AFTER THEM I WOULD BE SKINNY AS A RAIL BUT IT JUST AINT THAT EASY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I'LL CHAT AT YA LATER P.S. I LOVE CHOCOLATE 2 LOL

Hi Tesa, glad to hear your feeling better.So far I've lost 1/2 a pound. I was doing really well and dropped 6 pounds but then put them back on.It's deressing...I do love to walk but the weather has been cold lately here.It snowed on Friday.I know I'd feel so much better if I lost the extra weight but I love chocolate,I wish that I had a freind here to walk with and made me do it even if I was tired.I guess I'm the only one here that needs to lose weight. lol Well today I have tons of housework to do as soon as I getff here, so that maybe a work out in it self.Chat later.And take care...drink orange juice.OH YA I smoke and drink coffee so your already in better shape than me.Have a good one.

well ladies i have been a bit under the weather but starting to feel better today i got a 3 mile walk in and only had only 1 pepsi that is great for me since i don't smoke or drink coffee pepsi is my weak spot and i have been very good this whole week so i am trying thanks for the feed back

Hi Wendy, just wanted to say that you are very pretty by your picture. Tesa hasn't been on yet, I keep checking for a responds from her. I work at the Leduc Hospital in Alberta and A lady that works there told me to cut out bread and dairy products and ofcorse my junk food.I love chocolate.I figure if I could just cut out the junk food, I'd probably lose 10 pounds easy.But it's easier said than done.My biggest problem is I have no one close to me that wants too lose weight and do it together.I need a push every now and then.Hope to chat again.
