My daughter has been diagnosed with having enlarged adenoids. She is 13 months old. She has suffered with the symptoms since 2 weeks after being discharged from the hospital after birth. She snores, and has always struggled when drinking her bottle and sucking her pacifier. We had to wait to be referred to the ENT until she was at least 1. We finally got an apt and now he said she has to get them removed. Which isn't a bad thing, because I know how much she has suffered. Now, it has gotten worse. She can hardly breathe. I am also 31 weeks pregnant with my second, a boy, and its getting impossible for me to sleep because she's been tossing and turning and waking up because its really annoying her now. I have tried everything. Nasonex, Benadryl, humidifier, everything. Now my questions is are there any suggestions anyone can give me that can partially clear her up just so she can get a good night sleep? Keep in mind that she has only had two ear infections, no runny noses, or anything. She had a pretty good clean bill of health. Never gotten sick from shots or any of that. Those two ear infections that she had, never bothered her, no fever or anything. I brought her to get check ups and that's when I found out she had those. Just severely congested from the enlarged adenoids but no runny nose or fluid in ears.
