My LO is breastfed and gets solids. I know breastmilk has to be her number one source of nutrition for her first year but I'm not sure how often to nurse and feed solids.
This seems to be her schedule now:
7am Nurse
8am Oatmeal and fruit
9:45am Nurse
10am Nap for 1-1.5 hours
12pm Lunch
1:30pm or 2pm Nurse
2:30pm Nap for about an hour (sometimes 2!)
4pm Nurse
5:30 Dinner
7pm Smaller nursing session
Does this seem okay? I was told not cut a nursing session myself, that my LO should do it on her own. So, do you feed your baby solids right after nursing? An hour after? Before? I want to be sure she's still getting the right amount of nutrition. Thanks!

She does not sleep through the night without waking lately, but no nursing sessions. She has not nursed during the night since about 7 months.
She is growing well, very playful, and rarely cries for food. Usually I nurse her before she seems "hungry" in order to stay with the 4-5 sessions a day. She's just so busy nowadays.
So, she will start to refuse it?

Does she sleep through the night? Or nurse during the night too?

5 nursing sessions/day sounds ok at 10 months. I had two schedule fed babies that were doing 5-7 (not sleeping through) nursing sessions in 24 hours at that age. Then a third kid who didn't ever go longer than 4 hours day or night without nursing til a year and a half and 'typically' nursed every 1-3 hours during the day....

If she seems to be growing and thriving and content on that schedule then it's probably fine. I would leave it like that for at least another few months... if not longer... unless she starts refusing it.
