10 month old in daycare or "suck it up"?

I'm registering my 10 month old for daycare 2 days a week for 3 hours a day. I'm a stay at home mom taking all my classes online. My sister says that I should learn to handle the baby and school/house work all at once but she's not a mom. Sometimes I need ME time. Am I right? Or does he not need the socialization?

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with needing a bit of me time. Yes, you're a mom, but you're also a student, and you need some time to focus on your studies. It won't hurt him at all, and you'll probably be a better mommy for it, because you won't be stressed and frazzled and trying to get everything done at once.

Just thank your sister for her advice, and then do what's right for you.

My husbands active duty army so we live 1800 miles away from our family so having the, watch him from time to time is out of the question.
