My 10 month old has been diagnosed with a ruptured ear drum. She had an ear infection a month ago. She was put on antibiotics and seemed better while she was on them, but once they were up, she was fussy again. I brought her back and she still had an infection and in addition, a ruptured eardrum. She was put on a stronger antibiotic and ear drops for 10 days. She has finished day 8 and seemed better (besides eating less) until last night. She woke up twice screaming. I gave her tylenol. Today she screams every time I lay her down and won't really eat. She is also pulling at her ear again. Should I bring her back today or wait until she finishes all of the antibiotics in 2 days?

Take her back you should see an improvement by now it should not be getting worse. Before you go to the doctor though just check in her mouth to see if there is a tooth coming through on that side of her mouth as this causes gum and ear ache. If you can not see anything take her back, bless her this is so painful. Hope she gets better soon.
