I have a 10 month old and she has suffered from eczema since she was about 2 months old. I have tried evey lotion available and have seen dermatologists. They had prescribed her steroids creams and we tried them. They worked but as soon as we stopped them as directed the rashed came back. We are now seeing a naturopathic doctor. She is just so itchy it breaks my heart to see her so umcomfortable. i have read that many moms go through this same thing so if you are one of those unfortunate moms please let me know what you tried to relieve the itching.

I have bad eczema. I use SLS free soap and put cold pressed olive oil on my skin. Ot works so well I have no flareups now.

Hi Sara, my ten month old has eczema as well. We found that when he has a really rough day with his eczema and is itching alot we soak him in a warm bath with some baby oil added to it. It seems to relive the itching and minimize the redness. Has worked really well for us so may help you guys out as well. Worth a try.

Thanks Krista. i will try that. We have done the oatmeal baths but not the baby oil. I will let you know how she does. Have you noticed with your little one as they get older do you notice the eczema getting any better?
