My son is 11 months old. He has never slept through the night or on hiw own. I always have to be there to make him sleep. He used to only wake up once to feed, but ever since he is teething, he wakes up 2-3 times. He drinks a lot fo water during day, i tried giving him water during night and he throws bottle. He will not take anything but me and milk. I want to stop breasfeeding when he is 1. Please Help me!

Depends what side of the fence you are on Elena. Attachment parents would tell you to just keep being there for the baby until he wants to let the nighttime feeding go. In my experience with my 2 girls that never happened. They would keep waking up to feed as long as I kept going in to feed them. Sleep is so important and broken sleep makes for cranky moms and cranky kids. What I ended up doing in the end - when they are about your sons age was going in to see my daughters when they woke. Making sure that they were safe and dry and then kissing them and putting them back to bed without giving in and feeding them. It took 3 nights. And they were awful nights but on night 4 they both slept through and didn't wake up for nighttime feedings anymore! Good luck!

He's normal.

Out of 3 kids none of them were sleeping through the night at 11 months. He's teething and breastfeeding is a comfort to him. If you want to stop you are just going to have to find another way to deal w/ the night wakings... but there is absolutely nothing wrong w/ nursing him past a year.

He really shouldn't be drinking much water though. That can get dangerous to their little systems. SOME water, sure... but I don't know what you mean by 'a lot of water' and that concerns me for him.
