i have a set of twins they are 11 months old, whenever i leave the room the one is fine its the other one that cries. its not just a cry is a screaming tear rolling down is eyes .it gets worse the longer i am gone to where where he can hardly take breaths. i dont know what to do! he will do it even if his dad is in the room with him. talking to him , giving him food or stuff to play with doesnt help anyone else have ideas to help ?

I should also add that I do leave her with family so I can have some me time, she will cry 15-30min after I leave but is usually ok afterwards. But as soon as I am back and she hears or sees me, she starts to cry until I take her. Its ok to leave them even though they will cry. I think it's important for them to realize that we will always come back. Good luck!!

I have a 5 month old who has been doing this since she was 2 months.. Babies see their mother as their comfort and security. So when you leave, their security leaves and anxiety kicks in (this can start at any age and doesn't happen to all babies). I cannot leave my LO with anyone (even dad) or she cries hysterically to a yell with tears. I just keep trying to have others hold her and hope that one day she will magically just not cry lol. No tips for you unfortunately, just know that you are not alone.

Hi Crystal my mother actually told me this happens at around nine to 11 months and is a phase most babies goe through when they just want the mother and no one else so i think it is totally normal what your experiencing if that helps it does pass :) and just shows you how special you are in your babys eyes xx
