She had to be picked up from school this morning because she can't stop crying and feels like she can't handle it and feels like freaking out.

♥ Poor girl. Sounds like she's due for a 'mental health day' w/ mom. Maybe some ice cream and a movie....

Hormones are EVIL and can make an otherwise rational human being behave like an alien from another planet.

Comfort her and try to get her to open up... w/out pushing too hard. Make sure that she knows she can come to you about ANYTHING and if she is uncomfortable talking to you that you will do everything in your power to help her find someone she CAN confide in (an aunt, a friend's mom, a counselor, etc...).

She may just not have 'any' reason to be upset... and that's OK too.

Poor baby. It could be hormones. I would definitely keep trying to talk to her about it everyday. Maybe something is going on at school? (Kids can be viciously mean these days) Or she may even have some depression going on. Keeping the lines of communication open with her and make sure she always feels safe talking to you. If everything at school seems to be ok and she's not being bullied, I'd ask the pediatrician about it. Good luck!

Probably hormones. My 11 year old cries ALL THE TIME, over the smallest things. Just try to listen to her and help her gain control over her emotions.
