My 13 month boy has been breastfeed since day one. I am now 28 weeks pregnant and need to start weaning my son. My main concern is night time. He always wants to nurse to sleep, or wakes many times and will not fall asleep on his own.. Recently I got a recliner and can rock him to sleep while he watches a kid show. I've been doing this for naps and bed time, tho it does not always work. and many times when i move him to bed he wakes back up and shhhing, rubbing and pating does not work.
He doesn't BF throughout the day anymore(most days), and i'm trying to give him milk in a sippy to replace it but he hates it.. Hopefully he will take to it sooner or later.. anyways-
He co sleeps with us, and we have the crib side car'ed to the bed, but when he does sleep in his side it seems like he wakes up more. Some nights he wakes up over 6 times, crys and just wants my boob, will nurse for a min and fall back asleep.. This is what i really want to cut out.. Any tips? I'm so scared that my new baby will be waking up at night needed me and my other son will awake and want me to fall back asleep also.. Mommy can't be in two place at once and Daddy has a rough job, and is pretty my useless at night..
any tips to get him to sleep through the night without waking so much... I really think he just wakes up and want my boob for comfort..
He used to take a binkie after he was asleep but now he just spits it out and gets mad.. -.- I feel very stuck and very worried
