my daughter is about to be 15, she has been asking me about an belly button piercing and she has studied about it and knows a lot about it. she is very responsible for her age. Should I let her?

I would be telling her that she can get as many as she wants after she is 18 and not before. She has the rest of her life to get piercings, surely she can wait a couple of years more.
Yes I have had body piercings and my Husband has 13 so I'm not against them at all. I just don't think children should get them.

Fifteen seems awfully young for a naval piercing. Belly button piercings take up to a full year to heal. If she is in sports of any kind, it will be such a nuisance. Also, many piercers will require a two parent consent for minors. Is dad on board?

There is a reason there is an age restriction on getting these piercings. If she's done her research, ask her to research that......
