My son, who has always been a sweet, wonderful, helpful kid, tells me he feels angry and doesn't know why. He was in counseling a couple of months ago but the counselor was an older man who wasn't very helpful. He didn't relate week to my son or vice-versa. I'm wondering if any of you are in the same situation and whether it's hormones, depression or just rage that he's experiencing. If so, what did you do? I'm at a loss because I want to do the best thing for him. There are other factors too such as his father and I do not agree on discipline. I feel because my son is a straight A student, he needs less hard discipline and more love/understanding and my son responds well to that. He doesn't respond well to criticism, stern punishment (such as what my husband provides). I need advice from someone who has been through the same situation! Help!
