I am 27 and I have a 9 year old daughter, back in September I suffered a miscarriage but fell back into my usual pattern of periods pretty quickly and have been regular for as long as I can remember give or take a few days but this month I was due to have my period on the 7th January and now I'm 16 days late but still getting negative pregnancy tests. On the 4th January I had a scan on my womb and ovaries because after the miscarriage I became concerned that there may have been something wrong although I am aware it's common for women to suffer miscarriages I just felt I needed some confirmation that all was ok to put my mind at rest. When I went back for the report the Dr told me all was normal and didn't seem like there was anything to worry about he asked if I had had any problems since the scan so I made him aware I was very late on my period which for me is very unusual and that I had done a test and was negative this appointment was on the 20th January he told me to wait another week and to take another test and if negative then he will send me for blood tests. I have been having some cramps not really painful and when I sneeze my breast a a white sticky liquid comes out I have had this since I had the miscarriage but over the last two months it had stopped. Also I asked if when I had the scan would it be possible to see if I was pregnant or anything was happening and he told me the report didn't say there was any sign of pregnancy but that doesn't mean I'm not. I'm becoming very impatient and worried as with my pregnancy with my daughter I tested early and test came back positive and with my last pregnancy I was only a few days late but tested positive but I'm reading a lot of things on here and other sites of women that have slow rising hcg levels could this be the case with me or am i just hoping?
