Well Joyce, it wasn't just HER mistake. It was not just her responsibility to protect herself and use condoms or birth control during sex. Your son is also to blame, and should not be pinning all the responsibility on her for getting pregnant. THAT is not right. If he is old enough and mature enough to have sex, he is old enough to put a condom on, or take responsibility for his actions.

I do agree, if your son wants visitation rights and she is making it difficult, court is the way to go. Hopefully your son is stepping up to the plate and helping provide for his child. Keep documents for proof.

He has every legal right to see his child. Help him get a lawyer and take it to court. Encourage him to document all her blackmail attempts.

What is the age of consent where you live? In some states that would be considered statutory rape. Also, making threats of blackmail is also illegal. She obviously has other issues and thinks she can get away with these things because no one has stopped her yet. I'd say consult a lawyer, see what legal measures you can take and let her know that you will be pressing charges (if you can do so).

He has the right to take her to court, request paternity, and subsequent visitation arrangements.

Do it through the courts. When she disregards the court order, she's in contempt and can be punished.

My advise would be for him to go to court and get court ordered visitation. Once it is court ordered she must comply with visitation.
