My son was diagnosed when he was seven with adhd. He is now 16 and giving us more trouble than ever. He has been on and off concerta. I recently had him to his therapist and we think the concerta may be causing him to be more irritable. We just started straterra today. He is very depressed and has attempted suicide about three months ago. We are in counseling now and hoping it will help. I have noticed he is more argumentative. We feel like we are walking on eggshells. My question is how do we discipline a child that is suicidal? Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
