17 Month old not talking, Repetitive Behavior

Hi, my little boy is 17 months old (1 month premmie).

He is not talking yet at all. He babbles but it will be when he is walking around etc. He wont look at us and babble or point.

If he wants something, he will go to where it is and cry (drink, favourite toy). He laughs at games and has just learned to clap.

He understands a few words, his name, up, drink, ferriswheel (toy)

He does come to me for comfort if hes upset or afraid.

I'm not sure if this is normal but the way that he likes to play with toys is walk around with them chewing on them (always different toys), he knocks down my block castles but wont stack them. He is very repetitive, he will run around our kitchen half a dozen times.

He gets set in routines. My parents look after him while I work. They said that when he wakes up after nap he HAS to come straight home or he has a meltdown. If they stop or do anything else he has a meltdown.

Should I get him seen by someone?
