18 and pregnant would like advice

I have recently found out I am pregnant and I have decided to keep the baby, I had told the Father that I was pregnant and he had made it very clear that he does not want the child, and tried forcing me to have an abortion, I know I am still very young, but I had come to conclusion if I chose to have sex and I should suffer the consequences and the responsibilities that goes with it, if anyone has any advice to help me though to what I am expecting I would be very grateful thank you. xoxox

I don't think you should look at it as 'suffering the consequences'. Yes, in the cold, hard term a baby is a consequence of sex, but it is also an incredible blessing.

Your story at this point sounds very similar to my sister who also got pregnant at 18. Her daughter is almost 8 now and the bio father has never once met her... by his choice. He DOES have to pay child support though (last I knew about that part, at least).

She moved in with our parents while pregnant and got a night job by the time the baby was a year, so that she could be home with the baby (and do online school) during the day and our parents could watch her at night.

She's been out of the house and married to an amazing man for the past 2 years. They both have good jobs (met at work, in fact) and he is an awesome daddy to my niece.

I can't give you advice on what to do or not to do, but I can tell you that this CAN work out. 18 is young, but it's certainly doable.
