Hi I'm a first time mom and my son is 18 months he has recently started humping things like the pillow toys the chair and I don't know if it's normal or not . I'm not sure what to do I just tell him to stop doing it and he stops for a little bit but then he starts doing it again. I don't know why he dose it or where he learned it from. I just really need some advice on how to make him stop or if I should take him to the doctor or if this is normal ??

yes this is actually very normal. I am a female and did this as a little girl too and to be honest I still do it but its on my man and he loves it. being that he is 18months old you can try and distract him when he starts. like singing to him trying to make him giggle etc. He didn't learn it anywhere, he is literally just feeling the pleasure like you and me would that's why he does it. as for telling him to stop, I probably wouldn't as that can later make him feel bad or ashamed or they will be fearful of sex. if it continues, as he gets older explain that its done in private. also in my case I was probably 4 and have a clear memory of humping the arm of the couch and my mom yelled at me and from that time forward if I had the urge I would go to my bed or bathroom to hide it so I wouldn't get yelled at. I never grew out of it and later in life when I got with my man it took us years to retrain my brain to orgasm a different way, that's the only bad thing I would say about it starting at a young age. It makes a neurological pleasure pathway in our brains and after years and years it is hard to make another pathway if that makes since. Good luck with your son but I really wouldn't worry, hes being a normal baby boy!
