yeah he is taking in fluids lots of them.. and is slowly eating.. just a few bites.. i guess its going around the post.. figures. :/ i honestly think he is starting to slowly get better but its still going to take alittle while he is still coughing and everything but he is sleeping better at night now also.. he still has alot of mucus but he drinks milk throughout the night and has like two bottles during the day.. but i put his humidfier on at night and we give him a bath everynight so most of it is running out of his nose..

Make sure he gets tons of water... warm water is best if he has any congestion, it helps thin the mucous in his membranes.... He will get better, just watch that he is getting plenty of water...

I have no idea what it is.. i took him to the er last night and they wrote him down for an asthma attack.. which i do not think that was it at all.. they gave him benadryl, tylenol and some other med. that i can remember the time off the top of my head.. today he ate one of the graduate meals.. like half of it.. but tonight he threw up twice.. but it wasent the food.. it was milk.. so now i def. have to watch out for dehydration.. i honestly dont think its him teething either because he already has all of his teeth even his molars..
i just honestly dont know what it is.. i dont know if its the flu or anything.. but i just want him to get better before i have my baby girl.. so i can clean up the germs and stuff from him coughing before she does get here.. My husband and i are not sick or anything from him tho.. yet!!

Is he running a temp? If he has a temp it could be a sign of infection. My daughter 22 months old had strep about a month ago, no one else in the family had it and she's not in daycare. Otherwise it could just be discomfort from teething that's making him miserable.

If he is taking fluids and keeping them down, don't worry... He will eat when he wants and more important needs to. I just went through this, mine was 14.5 months. he was fine with drinking his bottle and tons of water from his sippy cup but he would not eat, it was 3 days before he ate anything. I did keep offering him food though, if he didn't want it I didn't worry about it. As long as he was taking in fluids. Your biggest concern would be dehydration but that won't happen if he is drinking lots... ;) Good luck, he will feel better real soon...

i havent i called the er.. because i live on an army base everything here is more hectic.. they said as long as he is getting fluids down that he should be okay and that he will eat when he wants too.. i just feel really bad and i dont know what to do.. i try and give him the pedasure and stuff but he doesent want to drink that either.. im just at a stump here.. and being 37 weeks pregnant and having my hormones go all over the place.. it makes me want to cry because he isent eating.
