My daughter is 19 months old, she has been home with me her whole life until about a month ago she started daycare. Her dad is deployed and has been since she was about 13 months or so. She is Constantly throwing fits, about the smallest things yelling NO NO NO in public & not in public She also has a tendency to smack me or the dogs in the middle of her tantrum. Im completely frustrated having no help & daycare they say they cannot give her a "time out" they can just say go sit down and and take a toy away. At home i make her sit in a corner for 1 minute. I step over her when shes throwing her huge fits, etc. But she constantly comes up and trys to get me to hold her or she'll throw something at me, etc. Its very frustrating. She really didnt start this until she started daycare. Ive tried so many different things but shes basically to the point where shes like whatever mom im gonna ignore you. It hurts my feelings makes me feel like a bad mom. Shes normally such a sweet kid. Anybody have some advice?
