1st birthday party

I know it's quite early for me to be thinking about my daughter's 1st birthday (she's currently 7 months old) but I am the type that finds comfort in planning ahead! My husband has a large family and they are all extremely involved in each others lives as family is very important to them. I think it's great but it does mean that we will have a pretty big guest list. Our house is rather small and will not comfortably accommodate the large group so I am a bit stumped on where to have the party. My daughter was born at the end of August and we live in Arizona so having an outdoor party is out of the question with 115 degree temperatures. I also feel like my daughter will be too little for somewhere like Peter Piper Pizza (the majority of our guests will be adults). I was hoping some other mom's out there would have some great ideas and wisdom to share :)

It's funny because everyone thinks a one year old birthday party is crazy, but it really is about getting everyone together, have a piece of cake and open presents. What I did, I invited everyone. But I had it at my mother in laws with a bigger house and closer to the relatives. It's about getting together and enjoying the time. I think a relative or friend would love to help you.
