First talk to the teacher and make sure there's not more to it than that. I have a second grader who if he gets in trouble he sometimes "shuts down" and doesn't listen to the teachers explanation of why he's being punished. If she truly was put in the hallway simply for getting angry I'd want a meeting with the teacher and the principal because anger is not a feeling you can control. You can control what you do about it but not that you feel it. I am not a big fan of schools touchy feely everyone has to like everyone and everyone has to get along with everyone policies. It's just not the way the world works and trying to regulate children's emotions is taking it a little too far.
