I had sex a month & 2 weeks after giving birth! Should I have waited to see my doctor so she could tell me it was ok? which is in one more week. I been thinking about it a lot lately, some people told me you could bleed to death, is this true? need HELP!

We tried really hard to wait the 6 weeks for my check up, but we made it 4 lol. I'm still here to tell the tale, so I guess bleeding to death isn't entirely accurate.

A month and 2 weeks IS six weeks BTW. Usually you should wait until you are cleared by your doc, but once again, you waited 6 weeks and should be fine. Schedule your check up. AND once again, birth control.

You should be fine, but it is recommended to wait 6 weeks to heal. Just be sure to use protection so you do not fall pregnant to soon.

Sounds like that was between 5-6 weeks if you were comfortable with it then its good. As for the heaver monthly same here unless you are going through 1 pad every hour you should be fine.

It can be normal. If you're going through a pad an hour... call the doctor right away. Otherwise it should be fine to wait until your appointment next week.

You are, most likely, fine. Mention it to your doctor when you go in just to be on the safe side.

If you're healing up properly and it wasn't painful (or too painful, since the first time can be a bit uncomfortable anyway) it should be ok. :)
