My son had his speech eval yesterday and it was pretty obvious that he could use the help for his speech. He's always been shy of strangers and wouldn't give much attention to the speech therapist. She seems like this was an issue. He wouldn't look at her when she spoke. But I know that once he warms up to people he's a different kid. She didn't seemed convinced and said I'll get the results from the eval in a few days.
Everything he does seems normal to me because he's my only kid and I don't really try to compare him to other kids. Should I worry?
He's always been a busy body and doesn't really take the time to sit and read and learn.
