My daughter just turned 2 in the beginning of this month and is still nursing. She has never slept all through the night without nursing at least once.

Any suggestions on how to help? I really miss sleeping through the night. I've tried giving her a snack before bed so she's full and won't wake up. she still sleeps with me so I'm thinking she needs to start sleeping in her own bed and maybe then she won't wake up. I don't know I'm just tired lol

Thanks at least now I see there's hope. She's not waking up as often but yes I'm ready to sleep!

♥ She's pretty normal.
I started gently night weaning my son around a year and a half and it didn't take until he was 2. I started by telling him EVERY night when he was nursing at bedtime that he was a big boy now and didn't need to nurse again until the sun came up. Yeah... my stubborn little stinker would stop nursing for a second just to look at me and laugh. lol ♥ When he would wake up in the night I would tell him that the sun wasn't up yet and to go back to sleep. If he started to cry I would instantly nurse him, but if he was just fussing a little bit I'd put it off for a bit. Eventually the times that he would fuss a little (or just quietly go back to sleep) started to outnumber the instant crying times.

Like I said though... it took about 6 months before he was sleeping through the night... before that he would wake 1-5 times in a 10-11 hour night to nurse!
