My daughter just turned 2 and she has been having accidents everyday multiple times a day. It started at night about a week ago where she would just stand in her room and pee on the floor, so I started putting her in undies instead of leaving her bare bum and she stopped, but now during the day, she will just pee in her undies then complain she peed in them. I've heard it could be caused from pregnancy (I'm 6 weeks) but I barely have symptoms, nothing else has changed. I stay home with her and give her a lot of attention.

Before you start telling me she is too little and give her a break, let me just tell you she has been trained day and night for almost a year (in 2 more months) and only had one accident 6 months ago, so this is new. She went through a short week long regression at 10 months...and a poop regression at 16 months when she got sick with a gastrointestinal virus. At 17 months she was back to her old self.

I googled what this could mean and the one thing would be a UTI, what do you think? I've never had a uti before so I don't know what it feels like. She doesn't say it hurts or complains any (if those are symptoms) I'm planning on taking her to the doctor if it doesn't get better.

Thank you! she never has had an accident in public (for the year she has been PT'd), just at home. I eliminated all distractions and limited her fluids again and she began going every time again. Its weird, but it worked.

Taking her to the doctor is a good idea.

If it's not a physical problem then maybe she's just getting to distracted during the day. I know my son tends to use the potty well at home but if we're out or if other people are over he gets distracted and doesn't use it as much.

I would try not to make a major deal out of it. Just praise her a lot when she uses it and don't say much when she doesn't. You could try to get her to use the potty every hour. I found telling my son to use the potty before we left the house and once we got home stopped a lot of accidents. That way it's not you making some random potty rule but 'oh before we do this we use the potty'.

Good luck!
