My 2 year old Emma is constantly removing her diaper. It doesn't matter if she is peed, pooped or completely dry she hates wearing a diaper. I've tried pull ups with her pajamas, panties over her diapers or pull ups, full body zippered pajamas. You name it I've tried it. I think she's hinting that she needs to be potty trained, but that's another struggle because she refuses to stay on the potty. When she takes her diaper off she pees all over the crib and its driving me crazy! Please help

We had Hailey sit on the toliet with a art table, paper and markers. She loved to color, and prefered using markers. We'd only allow her to use her markers when she was sitting on the potty. She loved doing that so much that she would practically want to sit there all day LOL. Everytime that she went we would get very excited and so would she. Before that we tried the sticker chart, but she wasn't a fan.

U have sum very interesting responses! First things first u have 2 use small steps 2 potty training her. Get her a sticker chart. Let her put her stickers on the chart w1hen she sits down (even if it's only 4 two secs). Then give her stickers for when she actually goes 2 the potty. Remember going to the potty is very different but if she's taking off the diaper she is ready 2 b potty trained. Also ask ur dr fr suggestions. They're usually very helpful n the getting big process. Good luck!

Duct tape the diaper on. Seriously, just put a piece of tape over the tabs--this is for when you NEED her to keep her diaper on lol

That's what I'm doing. I set a timer for 45 min. and we sit on the potty. I sit on the floor (she has a little potty) and we read books or sing songs. And if she goes we get really excited and clap and she gets to flush the potty (which she really loves). My mom swears by 'potty candy'. She gave us a couple m&m's when we went on the potty and she had my sister and I completely potty trained and in big girl panties before 2. Good Luck!

My cousin has the same issue with her son. her pediatrician told her to get an egg timer, and use it as a potty clock, and have a toy or two she can ONLY play with when shes on the potty. lots of encouragement! good luck

Try putting the diaper on backwards so the sticky part is in the back maybe she wont be able to get it off..but she sounds pretty smart!

I've put the onsies underneath the full pj and she unsnaps it! Lol I dont think you guys understand this girl is smart! Too smart for her own good lol. The safety pin kind of scares me. Like I said she's smart so I have a feeling she would figure that out and might hurt herself.

Try a onesie under the full body fleece pajama. If she can still get out of that safety pin the zipper of the full bodies.

Thank you all for your responses, they are very helpful. I have tried the small strips of duct tape over the tabs of the diaper. She just pulls them off! I love the sticker and candy idea. I will try these and keep you updated. Thanks

allot of people do the candy thing. I baked my friends daughter a cake that i dyed pink with purple frosting when she finished potty training and we had a "your a big girl" party, and I'll probably do the same when my daughter potty trains.
