My 2 year old son has talked with his mouth closed for awhile now. He has a soother that we are slowly trying to take away, but even with the soother out he still talks as if it's in. It's like talking through your nose. Sometimes he says words and we can make out most of what he is saying with his mouth closed. I feel like its a confidence thing, but has anyone else experienced this? We just had an appointment with speech therapy, she recommended losing the soother of course, and some other tips.
