Okay, I'm sure this question has been asked a million and one times, unfortunately I have been unable to locate any answers. My husband and I (along with our 5 girls) are taking a family vacation to Disney World in June 2014, however, he and I are in a little disagreement in regards to bringing our 2 year old daughter. He feels that we shouldn't because of it being HOT, waiting in long lines and etc. and me as a mom says "we should" because its a FAMILY vacation, and I don't have to ride any of the rides I can just hang out with her. So could someone please give us some ADVICE on what we should do for our FIRST DISNEY VACATION!!!!! Also, the ages of the girls at the time of travel will be, 13, 12, 8, 5 and 2

I would bring the 2 yr old. We have done Disney several times. The last was when my youngest was 18 months old. We all had a blast. It will be hot so take breaks and have lots of water handy. Use the fast passes and if one of u sits out because of the 2 yr old you r able to go in a faster line when you make the switch. I have a 16 yr old and a 12 yr old and youngest is 2 1/2 yrs old. We have not stopped doing things including family vacations just because we have a younger one. This summer we r planning a Disney cruise with all kids.

Personally? I'd wait until all the kids were old enough so that they are beyond the whiny 2 year old stage...simply for the enhanced enjoyment of the entire family.

I would never, ever consider leaving one of my kids home from a family trip, no matter what the age.
