My daughter just turned 2. she has always had enlarged adenoids but recently (1 week) her tonsils have also been swollen. Her right is 3x, her left 2x normal size. They put her on steroids to reduce swelling but so far I have not seen an improvement. We took her to the ER last night per her pediatrician. Both her ped and the ER ped said she needs them removed asap. The ENT will not see her for a month and said he does not consider it urgent. He has never seen her, and she is having trouble breathing and sleeping. Last night we had her in bed with us, is this silly? am I over worrying or should I look for a different ENT?
