I need help settling something please, is it a good idea to let your 20 month old put stickers on thier toys, (ie:their slide)? Or is this teaching them bad behavior, and confusing them on what is right or wrong?

...How is it teaching them bad behavior or confusing them? They're stickers. They have pretty designs on them and are made to *drum roll* stick to stuff.

If you don't like having stickers on everything I suggest not giving your toddler stickers. Other than that...no, I don't see a problem with it at all.

Um, what? How could letting her put *her* stickers on *her* stuff be a matter of bad behaviour or "right and wrong"?

If it bothers you, don't give her stickers.

My mom let us put stickers on our bookshelf and desk. We didn't turn into vandals or graffiti artists. ;)

Although one time I was watching my mom remove the wallpaper from my sister's room to redecorate. I thought I was helping out by removing the wallpaper in my own room. :O
I was swiftly reprimended on that and didn't do it again. I thought I was 'helping'.

Just keep an eye on her or let her know - stickers can go here and here only. That's what we did. Only, I DO NOT like stickers all over things and tell my kids stickers are for bodies or paper. It's hard for me to clean stuff with stickers all over it. and for us, the slide is outside. I don't want paper/stickers getting washed off and just out in the yard after rain. As long as you set guidelines for her, she'll do just fine.

if she starts sticking them to YOUR stuff, I would stop her, but I don't see why she can't decorate her own stuff :)
