My son goes to daycare in the afternoons (12:30-4:30) and has just transitioned to one nap a day. While at home (I was home with him during the first week of the transition from two to one nap) he sleeps for 2-2.5 hours. At daycare, our provider wakes the kids up at 2:00 in order to get other kids from school. Thus, my 21 month old only gets just over an hour nap while at daycare. My question is this: is this long enough for his healthy development? He sleeps great at night, 12 hours, consistently. Secondly, do any of you have tips to help make my nights with him smoother - he seems quite tired when I get him home.
Thanks in advance.
