My daughter was born 25 weeks premature, weighing 1 pound and 15 ounces. She is now 3 months almost 4 or 1 month adjusted weighing 7 1/2 pounds. She has reflux and has to take rice cereal with formula instead of my breast milk and it caused her to become constipated. We were told to give her apple juice. She recently started having diarrhea and we don't know if it's from the juice ( she had been on it for a week now) or early signs of teething ( along with excessive drooling and biting anything near her mouth). Can a baby ( premature) be teething so soon?

Yes a baby can teethe this early. Some babies are even born with teeth! It sounds like the diarrhea is from all the extra drool. Same thing happens to my son. Its nothing to worry about. I suggest if your lo is fussy to look into getting some amber and if your lo can't handle a teether yet check out teething mittens www.etsy.com/shop/easybreazybaby
