I'm 25 weeks pregnant, and am used to feeling my son move during the day, as well as at night. But today I haven't felt much movement at all. Tried drinking OJ, ice water, a sugary snack, and lied down..and nothing. This happened once before, and I was told to go into the ER to be checked out. Everything was peachy, and they put him on a monitor..no issues. I tell myself that this is probably just me being a worry wart- but I cannot help but worry. Reassurance? Tips??

I think sometimes the baby just sleeps the day away or is positioned in a way that you can't feel very much, especially when you're not that far along. I'm 30 weeks, and last Friday my baby just didn't move at all. It was very weird, but I lay down and finally counted 10 fluttery movements in about 30 minutes, more like the feelings I had when it started at 16 weeks. I was concerned, but the next day the baby was back to practicing its karate kicks and moving my shirt around by wiggling like crazy, so I guess nothing was wrong.

Have you been told to count the movements yet? I was told to start at 27 weeks. If I don't feel 10 movements in 2 hours, I'm to page the midwife immediately. Usually I can feel 10 movements in less than 10 minutes, but this is a lively baby compared to my firstborn.

My advice would be to wait until tomorrow and see how the baby feels then. Most likely you'll wake up to find it dancing on your bladder. :)
