my daughter had what the hospital say was an Anaphylactic shock to her 2month needles, At the point she is now due for her 4months needles which they still want to do at wesmend childrens hospital! I'm not 100% for getting them as the first lot was very scary when she went pale as a ghost and didnt respond to anything or anyone for what seemed forever, It took 3 days to get my lil girl back to normal, would u get them done a 2nd time or by pass them altogether, no one can tell me if she will be fine after the next lot, im due to take her next friday

I am completely pro vaccination, however I would not go through with the second lot in this situation. An allergic reaction that results in anaphylactic shock can get worse if the person is subjected to the allergen again. Anaphylaxis can be fatal, and I don't think I could take that risk. My husband had a reaction and almost died when he was vaccinated as a baby so I was scared about getting my daughter done. We ended up going with a test dose at the hospital, thankfully she never had a reaction. I would be asking to speak with a vaccination specialist, your doctor should have be able to contact one for you, maybe get some advice on which part of the vaccine she maybe allergic to and see if there are any other options, for example having single test vaccines of the ones that are least likely to cause the reaction.

It sounds like she had an allergic reaction to the injection, which would be very scary. Personally, I would hold off until you know what caused it. Have you spoken to the doctors at the hospital as to what caused it? It would probably be worth having allergy tests to find out what she is allergic to.
