i have a 3 and half year old little girl, she is just amazingly intelligent and and speaks so well. she has been in a play school from 2 months old cos i had to go back to work. but she is so naughty, she bullies the kids, she is defiant and does not listen. please can you give me some advice on disciplining her. does giving her a shot help? some people told me that if we give her a good thrashing she will learn to behave, but i don't see how that will help at all. please help .... thank you

You can't be seriously thinking of abusing your child by "thrashing" her!!!!
You need to teach her to share and to listen to adults. How is she at home? If she is also defiant with you then YOU need to set boundaries and discipline her when she crosses then. Discipline would be time out, taking her toys away or not allowing TV or something else she likes. It also means NOT giving in when she has a tantrum because she isn't getting what she wants.
Parenting is hard and abuse isn't the answer, all that teaches is that violence will solve her problems and if she's already a bully then it will make it worse.
