3 Month Old Baby.

Yeah, and I started my oldest on solids at 3.5 months. She is fine too, but now that I know better... I do better.
I did start trying my youngest at 5 months, but he wasn't ready for even a single bite until he was 6 months.... and not ready for more than once a day (at the most) until he was a year.
You asked for advice and we are giving it to you. Waiting until 6 months is (almost always) BEST for your baby. Take it or leave it.
6 months is the rule, just because your sisters kids are fit doesn't mean the dangers in early feeding don't exist. They could choke, it bloats their bellies and they don' get adequate nutrition from milk or formula. It can cause obesity and eating problems later in life. The list goes on. Babies shouldn't have solid meals until after a year old. Any food before that is just practice and should not replace feedings from bottle or breast.
