You don't. Babies don't use a breast as a pacifier... parents like to make babies use pacifiers in place of the breast. Suckling at your breast is exactly what your baby is supposed to be doing.

What is the baby doing to suggest it isn't because of hunger? It is pretty normal for a baby to increase frequency of feeding when they are going through a growth spurt, and at 3 months, this is generally a time that this happens.
