3 month old & Naps

My 3 month old just doesn't take great naps. She was sleeping through the night (on/off at least 4 nights/week) but now doesn't even do that anymore. Any tips/advice/words of wisdom for a frusterated mom. She is the kind of baby that just doesn't sleep anywhere either. She needs it quiet, noise machine, I still have to swaddle her too! My daughter also can't stay awake for more than 2 hrs at a time. Usually it is closer to 1 hr but I think this is because she just doesn't take long naps. She gets super fussy & I know she is tired but she just won't sleep. She cries quite a bit before every nap - I dread it everytime! Every 2 hrs all day long! She is such a happy great baby otherwise.

I agree with Kelina, don't stretch it out to 2 hours between each nap, try somewhere around 60-90 minutes, is her room darkened? Try sitting with her for a little when she first wakes up from a short nap (less than 45 minutes) Pat her but, calm her down with shshsh, keep as minimal stimulation as possible. for 30 minutes. Don't worry about sleeping the night through she need the nutrients right now.

She could be teething or growing. Have you checked her mouth? it might also be a milk cold. How do you usually get her to sleep? if possible try putting her down at the first sign of tiredness rather than after she gets fussy.
