3 Months AFTER Caesar and I still have BLURRY VISION. Any advice?? Docs say only my iron is low. Eye docs say eyes are a bit short sighted, but nothing wrong and shouldn't be blurry. PLEASE HELP!! Had a caesar because bub was 11lb 3oz. On the verge of gestational diabetes. Only caught very late. Thanks so much!!

You can have a swab test done. You really should go to your doctor and get the eyes checked. Left untreated, any eye inflammation can cause damage. I wouldn't be confident in a doctor who said he "thinks" it cleared up. Maybe seek a second opinion on what is going on with your eyes.

I used the ointment after the eye drops didn't work. He thinks it's cleared up, but how do I tell for sure?? I was wondering of it was actually conjunctivitis as it was painful in both eyes and they say that conj is not painful, buy eyeritis* is? Theonly thing is though, that we all had it.

Are you 100% certain the conjunctivitis is cleared up? How did you treat it? and have you been back to the doctor who treated you for conjunctivitis?

Yes. They said the blood sugar was fine.

The eye doctor said that they could fix the short sightedness, but the glasses wouldn't help the closer things not be blurry. I kept telling them their faces were slightly blurry and they just said it shouldn't be!

I just know I am not right afterwards.

Our family also had conjunctivitis shortly after the caesar, but everyone cleared up. I just noticed after the conjunctivitis that my eyesight was wonky.

Marie, have they done a blood sugar test? I only ask because you mentioned you were borderline gestational diabetes, and this is a symptom of high blood sugar. Maybe there is still a blood sugar problem that didn't go away.

I'd have another opinion about the eyes, personally. NEVER have I been to an eye doctor to have them say "they shouldn't be blurry" without followup treatment.
